Fresco Rose was my first MAC Paintpot and I’ve worn it many times and used it on others on many many occasions. I love it. It is now in the list of my favourite products now discontinued.

Regular blog readers will know how I love these Maybelline Colour Tattoo cream eyeshadows. The newest UK shade is Pink Gold.

It’s blendable and gives good coverage, whether as a base for other colours, a soft wash of colour, or solid block colour.

Here is the swatch.

… Here’s how it looks on the eyes. It’s more shimmery than Fresco Rose but the colour on the eyes is still very similar.

I swatched a test patch of both cream shadows on my arm on Thursday night after showering and it lasted 24H albeit with some fading (due to wear/ rubbing of my dress sleeves). Both MAC and Maybelline cream shadows have amazing longevity. I didn’t think that I’d find a perfect dupe for Fresco Rose but here it is, Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Pink Gold.
